Great Knights are a promotion of Cavaliers. They can use swords, axes, and lances and have good mobility, though inferior to other mounted units, able to move six squares. Their ability to used many types of weapons makes them excellent scouts. Great Knights tend to have a higher str. and spd. than Paladins, but worse defensive stats.

Once Benjamin gains enough experience, he can become a Great Knight. In addition, a Great Knight is introduced in both sub chapters (Warren in Chapter 10x and Linda in Chapter 15x).
